Gary E. Herbeck, D.M.D.

Dr. Herbeck received his B.S. degree (Microbiology) in 1975 from the University of Central Florida (formerly Florida Technological University), and attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, graduating in 1978. He joined the United States Public Health Service and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the National Health Service Corps for 3 years. He has maintained an active dental practice in Merritt Island since 1981.
Dr. Herbeck has maintained an active presence both in his profession and his community over the course of the past 40 years.

He has served his profession in the following ways:

Past president of both the Brevard County Dental Society (BCDS) and the Central Florida District DentalAssociation (CFDDA). Life Member of the Florida Dental Association (FDA). Served for 10 years on the FDA Board ofTrustees and has been both Scientific Editor and Editor-In-Chief of the FDA’s journal Today’s FDA.
Member of the invitational dental honor organizations the American College of Dentists, the International Collegeof Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Herbeck has helped promote the delivery of dental health careto Brevardians of all ages and all walks of life as well as participating in charitable programs and services for our community

Personally speaking …

Dr. Herbeck and his wife Michelle live in Merritt Island and are the proud parents of two children, Alexis and Nicholas. He plays guitar, saxophone and other musical instruments, maintains his vegetable and herb garden and proudly wears orange and blue while cheering on the Florida Gators.
